Remembering Elizabeth Edwards: My GNMParents column is up

I do not know why, but from the first time I heard of Elizabeth Edwards‘ diagnosis with breast cancer, I as immediately concerned about her and for her. I have followed her, not her husband’s career or mistakes, but her strength and example as a parent, since her battle became public. I kept hoping against hope that she’d beat it and be around to watch her children grow old, for her sake and for theirs.

That was on my mind, when I wrote my column for GNMParents today. You can find it here at GNMParents.

Hug you kids. Call your Mom. Give your husband/wife/partner an extra kiss. Life is precious and often far too short.

About rocketsciencemom
I am a rocket scientist in my day job, and a mother of two all the time. I'm a pop culture addict and amateur artist in my spare time. My typical preferences tend toward sci-fi and fantasy genres but I love a good drama or comedy. Reading the blogs of fellow Lost fans over the years has motivated me to finally write my own. In addition to starting this blog, I have been writing for the parenting blog GNMParents under the name RocketScienceMom (or RSM for short). All drawings and images on this blog are property of RocketScienceMom
